    3. Greetings to all. That was a close shave! I didn't need to splash out on a Marriage or Birth Certificate after. So Saved myself some cash. From further information from my Cousin's family,we are now certain that the family we are after is the one that was in 28,Albany Street,Miskin,Mountain Ash Glam;for the 1911 census. The head of the household being Isaac CROSS who was aged 31 in 1911 born at Ynyshir,Glam;   I then found him in 1881 aged 1 with his parents and siblings at 193 Dinas Concrete,Llantrisant,Glam; His parents being Benjamin CROSS and Louisa,[nee WILLIAMS,married  at Pontypridd district in 1869.]   Benjamin was born in Cardiff according to the 1881 census. There was a Birth Registration for a possible candidate, in one who was born in the September Quarter of 1841 in Cardiff. I then found on Family Search, one who was born at Eglwysilan in about 1841.   He wasn't in Cardiff however in the 1851,and I found him as a Servant,or "Carter"at Julians Farm Llanedyrn aged 18 in 1861.   Getting back to Isaac CROSS. He married Mary BURT also spelt BIRT[on Free BMD;]in Cardiff September quarter of 1907. She was born in Cardiff in about 1884.   So Lookups need for the CROSS's in the 1841,51 censuses. Ditto for the BURT's   Louisa WILLIAMS above was born in Machen in about 1847. In the index for the 1851 census there was one aged 4 in Machen,Monmouthshire.   Cheers Graham.
