Certainly the evidence from the Independent Chapel graveyard at Bethel in Carnglas Road in Sketty, Swansea is that burials were conducted by a number of different denominations after 1900, including CofE and RC. This may well have been the case in other village chapels which had extensive burial grounds. The income from burials may have helped to sustain the chapel.
