Dear Listers My parents bought a house in Cardiff Road, Mountain Ash, from my mothers aunt in 1954. I was wondering if there is any way of finding out when the house was built as I had the impression the family had lived there for a 'long' time. I know in 1901 the Charles family lived at Cynon House, Nos 28,29 and 30 Oxford Street, Mountain Ash and then by 1911 they are at Bryn Haf Villas, Llan Road, Mountain Ash. There is something niggling at the back of my mind as to whether this address is the same place as where I was born; Clydfan,(6?)Cardiff Road, Mountain Ash. On google maps the terrace of houses are known as Cresselly Villas. Our house was on the corner of Cardiff Road and Troed-yr-Rhiw Road. Does anyone know this area, or have any idea how I can find out when these houses were built?
