Hello all.As the List seems to be quiet,perhaps one of you helpful folks out there,who may have a subscriptionto those awfully nice people from "Ancestory. com" Could assist me please? Looking at the aforementioned Ancestory.com website for Free in my Local library recently,I came upon another link to another President of the United States. My Earlier find was via Franklin Pierce the 19th;century President who is my 8th;cousin 7 times removedupwards. Both of us are descended from Jenkin FRANKLIN,[c.1515-1585] of Parc-le-breos,Ilston,Gower.He being my 13 x great,grandfather. Jenkin was  the "Under Sheriff"of Glamorgan in 1541,and later a J.P;[1581] The FRANKLIN's were in The Municipal Government of Swansea from 1485 to 1640.[From Glamorgan Historian vol;1.] On the Ancestory.com information,somebody had written a link to William Howard TAFT,[1857-1930]The Lord Chief Justice,and President of the United States,the 9 x great,grandson of the aboveJenkin FRANKLIN. There was mention to a CALHOUN family tree who had this link,and maybe a WARD/FLANAGAN Family Treealso had a link.
