    3. Hi Clare There is a parish called Penrith in Pembrokeshire - see http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/wal/PEM/Penrith/ You might get some help from the Dyfed Rootsweb mailing list. I don't think there were iron mines in the area, but there were slate quarries, so he may have transferred his skills to that.
