List Members All, We don't keep a Activity list online, as some more organised List owners do;-)) I can tell you though that we have a large list of 655 subscribed members. Now they cannot all be on holiday, can they? So where are you all hiding? John Ball has said on the POWYS List, and I agree with him, 'A list such as this is only as good as the contributions from its members'. I said a day or so ago 'What surnames are you researching? Why don't you let the list know as someone else may well have something to add to your research, but cannot do this, if they don't know who you are looking for.' New members do join the list but if you have told us of your research interests last year or a month or so ago, they may not be aware of your interests. So why not let the list know the SURNAME and given name of the person who you wish researched. The date or approx. date of birth/death and where born/died. Which last census or other document have you found the family on? Last but not least whether the person is married and to whom and if there are children. All these are clues to help the many willing people on this list, to help you. Here is my genealogy website, if you need to know something of my interests. http://www.muirfamily-genealogy-online.co.uk/ Best wishes, Jill
Sorry, not contributing at the moment - busy transcribing for MonGenes and I've been helping someone knock down a brick wall - you know what I mean ;-) I'm assuming a lot of the others are doing similar. Still searching for any HATTON connection in Glamorgan (I have a lot of them - came originally from Gloucestershire then Monmouthshire then Glamorgan from late 1700's onwards) and an elusive Frederick BRAN(D)T (in Devon, but I think he's dead and buried in Malta - around the year 1820/30) All the best Jane > To: glamorgan@rootsweb.com > Date: Sat, 2 May 2015 17:28:34 +0100 > Subject: [GLA] List Activity > From: glamorgan@rootsweb.com > > List Members All, > We don't keep a Activity list online, as some more organised List owners do;-)) I can tell you though that we have a large list of 655 subscribed members.
