Listers, As Robert has said there are few emails lately, but if you wrote something, as I did recently you will get plenty of quiet people sitting in the background, also wondering where the list mail is, suddenly helping you. I have already replied to Heather 'off list', in more or less the same vein. What surnames are you researching? Why don't you let the list know as someone else may well have something to add to your research, but cannot do this, if they don't know who you may be looking for. You can always check email if you feel that it is simply you not getting these by going to the Glamorgan List Archives. Names? I apologize if many of you have heard this before. Most of my "Irish" ancestors left Ireland for Wales and then the US - mainly, CT. I am looking for Shea: Bartholomew married to Ellen Moran, and my gr grandfather James Shea who married Catherine O'Neil, first, and then probably Mary Quirk (all born in the 1830 range). Catherine O'Neil had brothers Owen, Michael, Jeremiah; also her parents were in Glamorgan, Ellen Mahony and Jeremiah O'Neil. Mahonys are probably related to Edmund and Catherine Ryan of Cardiff, St. Mary. On the other side of the family are Hickeys and possibly Murphys - William Hickey (born 1835) and wife Ellen Horrigan Hickey. Their children were: Denis, MaryAnn, Ellen (married Jeremiah Martin), Patrick, Daniel, Catherine. Ellen Horrigan's sister and mother were also there. This is a brief, perhaps too brief, over view and I would be more than happy to hear from any one who recognizes any one at all. Sue
