    1. [GLA] New problem with Find My Past?
    2. Roy Davies via
    3. Hello, I have been trying to access Welsh parish records from the web page at Find My Past that lists all the special collections. Special Collections http://www.findmypast.co.uk/articles/world-records/search-all-uk-records/special-collections Some of the links on that page work when I click on them and others don't. Among the ones that I cannot get access to are all the links that I have tried in the Wales Collection. Whenever I click on one of the Welsh links I get a message saying Safari (my web browser since I use an Apple Mac) cannot open the page because it can't find the server "search.findmypast". In case it is a problem with Safari I tried using Google Chrome instead. The only difference that made is that I got a longer, more detailed error message which I don't understand. The server at *search.findmypast.* can't be found, because the DNS lookup failed. DNS is the network service that translates a website's name to its Internet address. This error is most often caused by having no connection to the Internet or a misconfigured network. It can also be caused by an unresponsive DNS server or a firewall preventing Google Chrome from accessing the network. As I also have Windows installed on my Mac running under some software that allows other operating systems to be installed, I tried using Internet Explorer and got an error message saying "this page can't be displayed. Make sure the web address http://www.findmypast.co.uk is correct." Is anyone else have problems with the Wales Collection? Roy
