The website you listed indicates that the records I need are held at the Neath Port Talbot location, which doesn't seem to be using the internet much. So I need to send a letter. > > > But you have all raised an interesting question for me. I thought if I knew a farm name, that would help direct me to a single place. But it appears that this farm name of Abergwenlais is the name of two or perhaps three places, since there are three hamlet/town locations associated with it. Could you please clarify for me. I am looking for the one in Gwenlais in the parish of Llandilo-Talybont. And the family names were listed as DAVIES in several years worth of census records. > > > JoLynn Barneck > > > ------------------------------ > > Message: 2 > Date: Sat, 14 Feb 2015 15:04:53 +0000 > From: Jeff & Jolynn Barneck <jeff@barneck.com> > Subject: [GLA] David DAVIES > To: "glamorgan@rootsweb.com" <glamorgan@rootsweb.com> > Message-ID: <1423926296983.88041@barneck.com> > Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" > > I have found two possible marriage listings in the Llangyfelach Parish for David's parents. One was for Daniel DAVIES to Mary JENKIN on 1 August 1818; the other if for Daniel DAVIES to Mary HUGHES on 27 September 1822. I just couldn't figure out which would be the correct one. > > > JoLynn > > > ------------------------------ > > To contact the GLAMORGAN list administrator, send an email to > GLAMORGAN-admin@rootsweb.com. > > To post a message to the GLAMORGAN mailing list, send an email to GLAMORGAN@rootsweb.com. > > __________________________________________________________ > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to GLAMORGAN-request@rootsweb.com > with the word "unsubscribe" without the quotes in the subject and the body of the > email with no additional text. > > > End of GLAMORGAN Digest, Vol 10, Issue 29 > *****************************************
