Hi List I have a marriage for Thomas Bosley b 1831 in Hirwaun Glamorgan, a Draper of High Street, Son of James Bosley, a Carrier & Elizabeth Jenkins (my maternal grt grandparents) He married Ellen Evans of Hirwaun on 20 January 1853 in Merthyr Tydfil (I have Marriage Certificate) - her father Benjamin Evans, Inn Keeper. They had a son, Benjamin Evans Bosley in Oct 1853 and he is written in our family bible pages from that time as the son of Thomas Bosley. I cannot find them as a couple in the 1861 Census There are several trees on ancestry who have him as being married to Ann Lewis and in the 1861 Census there is a Thomas Boseley, wife Ann, living in Williams Row, he is a Railway Porter. I've also found an Ellen Evans death in 1859 - BOSLEY Ellen Merthyr T 11a 245 I thought perhaps Ellen had died and Thomas had remarried but I can't find a Thomas Bosley marrying an Ann Lewis between 1854 and 1861. Is there someone out there who can look in the parish records or is related to Ellen Evans. Or perhaps someone clever can find them on the 1861 Census. I've tried Ancestry and FamilySearch.org to no avail. Any help or advice welcome. Thanks, Marcelle Western Australia
