    3. My ISP is reasonably efficient at filtering out obvious spam so that it never reaches my computer. We should all be aware that certain types of email which do not explain their subject, or which contain unexplained links, should be regarded as suspect. Many email systems allow you to examine the 'properties' of an email without opening it, which may be an idea if you are suspicious.
