    3. Hi Listers, I am having problems with finding anything so far on this man, my Great Uncle. His Attestation papers show: David Middleton Owen born Cardiff, Wales, b 19th May 1885 Next of kin Richard Owen, address of Next of kin Minto, N.B, Canada Occupation Shoemaker - not married - served 3 years 62nd regt to serve in Canadian Ocer-Seas Expeditionary Force. That his family or some of them were in Canada is known by the family as my aunt received many gift parcels from them during the 2nd World war. I thought I had found a lot of detail of him on ancestry - but that was my own! ;-)) Can anyone help find him please? Best wishes, Jill

    3. Hi Doug, Yes that 's the great find I had! It is my own research uploaded by my 1st cousin! ;-)) That is why the dates are odd, as that is all I knew, until yesterday when I received his attestation papers. He was born in Cardiff.
