Help please in my search for my ancestors John & Dinah Rees I have just a few clues on my Dinah & John Rees family from the Rhondda as follows: First: Unable to locate the family on the 1911 census. Marriage took place in Merthyr Tydfil Register Office on 4 August 1901. John Rees aged 24 years bachelor Coal Miner. Father William Rees also a coal miner. John Rees is living in Abercanaid on the 1901 census age given as 25 years born Clydach Vale residing with John Evans a relative of Dinah Evans who he married. Unable to locate John or William Rees in Clydach Vale on previous census reports.Is Aberkenfig or Glyncorrwg near Clydach Vale, please? 1891 census two possibilities I am not familiar with the Rhondda. Father William. John Rees aged 17 born Aberkenfig living in Evanstown Aberkenfig. Registration District Bridgend? Father William. John Rees aged 19 born Glyncorrwg living in Abergwynfi Registration district Neath? Dinah Evans married aged 20 years a spinster. Father Richard Evans Coal Miner. Born Treherbert living in Abercanaid. Family originally from Merthyr Tydfil. 19 years on 1901 census in Merthyr Tydfil. Couple had two sons names unknown. One later kept a newsagents in Clydach Vale & the other the Wool Pack Inn in Glynneath so I was told by the family but unable to confirm. Unable to locate death certificate of my Dinah Rees or burial place & too many John Rees deaths to be able to check. I would be grateful for any ideas. All the best Heather
