Interesting to find Edward on the 1891 census, living at 137 Wellington Street (more Canton than Riverside, surely?), with his wife, five children and no less than four boarders! Wellington Street has been completely redeveloped at various times in the last 100 years but if the original property was anything like those typical for the area it does make you wonder how they all fitted in!
