Hi list I am just wondering if there's anyone out there who is researching the family of Morgan Morgan, born 1821 in Llangadog. I am pretty sure that it is his brother, David Morgan (1802) Llangadog who is his brother and my direct ancestor; there are also two other brothers, Joseph (1803) and Thomas (1811) They all seem to end up in Llanguig around the Neath Canal in and around Gelli Fowy Fach/Canol - working either as farmers or bargemen. Margaret Williams (1772, Carmarthan) his visiting her son Joseph Morgan in 1851 - but I've no idea who their father was. Of course, this should be recorded on Morgan Morgan's marriage cert to Hannah Jones in 1844 - if anyone has it (the other bros were married too early for registration). If anyone has any links with this family or detailed marriage info for Llanguig (parents are not listed on the GFHS fiche), I@d love to hear from you - otherwise, I'll have to fork out for a certificate!
