I was recently given a Computer Disc of "The Plantagenet Book of the Blood Royal",which consists the living[1905]descendants of King Edward III,who reigned between 1327 and 1377. The Numbers of people who were alive then were about 50,000. These wasn't all of his descendants by any means. But the chap who did the research and wrote it all out,was the Marquis de REVIGNY. Suffice to say their are 5 volumes of the descendants of The Clarence,Exeter,Mortimor,Tudor,Essex lineage. Surprisingly,The Marquiss [my spellcheck button has somehow vanished?]of Salisbury who was in no danger to anyone at that time, but who was reckoned to be the last survivor of the Plantagenet Household, was Beheaded by Henry VII as she had a more better claim to the Throne than he did,So her Head was detatched from her shoulders at the age of 70. Charming people those Tudor lot. Anyway Unbeknown to Henry VII She left over 30,000 people alive in 1905 who were descended from her. So if anyone out there says to you..... "Hey! I'm descended from Edward III,just tell them "Join The Club!" My lineage goes back further to Edward I. Called the Grand-daddy of Europe. The Ancestor to about 50,000,000,000 people worldwide. Which makes me the 28th;cousin once removed to King George VI. Please dont ask me for lookups. There's too many of the blighters! Cheers Graham. From:- Graham WILLIAMS,of Canton,Cardiff.
