Hi, can anybody help me ? My gg grandfather was William Awbrey found in the 1881 census in Dulais higher recorded as a shoemaker. He was born in Cwmgrwach in 1817.He had a sister Mary born in 1813 and baptised in st Cattwgs in cadoxton. Also a brother John, born out of county in 1820 (Llanfeugan) Their father Joseph had moved out of county to the Tredegar area.(he was a miner) I cannot find Josephs birth anywhere but know he married Anne John in Glyncorrwg in May 1812. There was a Joseph Awbrey born in 1784 in Cadoxton, one of illegitimate twins (the other being David) This Joseph however, died soon after. I believe my "Joseph" to be of the Cadoxton Awbrey's .I wonder if anyone has any suggestions.I presume his birth to be somewhere in the 1780/90's range My many thanks Rob Grey
