    3. >From FreeBMD www.freebmd.org.uk Henry LOMAS married in June quarter 1910 in Pontypridd registration district (which included Treorchy) . One of the other names on the page is Margaret Louisa THOMAS . GRO ref is 11a 937 Birth of Henry LOMAS is in December quarter 1873 in Crickhowell registration district, ref 11b 127. Crickhowell district included Llangattock parish, the most southerly parts of which included part of Brynmawr. http://www.ukbmd.org.uk/genuki/reg/districts/crickhowell.html gives more detail of boundary changes in the area over time. Margaret Louisa THOMAS may have been the one born in Calne registration district, Wiltshire in June quarter 1882 ref 5a 81 or may have simply been Margaret THOMAS and added Louisa because the liked the name, or may have been a widow when she married. In 1911 census Job Henry was aged 5 months Henry was 38 and Margaret Louisa 30 Using free access and searching you can also find other children in the household with the surname THOMAS Annie May aged 4 and Thomas John aged 2. this rather suggests that Margaret Louisa was recently widowed when she married Henry LOMAS. Two possibles appear from FreeBMD Margaret Louisa JONES who may have married William Harris THOMAS in September quarter 1901 in Cardiff registration district. there was a death of a William Harris THOMAS age 65 in Cardiff registration district in September quarter 1906 . and Margaret Louisa G SELWAY who may have married Frederick William THOMAS in June quarter 1902, again in Cardiff registration district. There is a death of a Frederick William THOMAS age 37 in Bridgend district in March quarter 1907. Neither of these exactly add up. You probably need the birth certificate for Job Henry LOMAS in December quarter 1910 ref 11a 713 in Pontypridd registration district if you really want to understand this family.
