Hello List.Can anyone advise me please? I have found my relative Rees Wallace , born 1882 at Bedwellty,Monmouthshire on 1891 and 1901 census living at 6 Wingfield Rd in Gelligaer, Hengoed.I think that I may have have found his marriage to Edith Williams in 1918 at Merthyr Tydfiland also his death in 1954 at Bedwellty Monmouthshire. I am unable however hard I try to find his birth record anywhere.Could there be a reason for this?Any help or advice would be appreciated Many ThanksLynda Hunt

Could he be illegitimate, Lynda. If he was born about the time of his parents marriage, try searching under his mother's maiden name. G'Day Lynda, Suggest name has been registered back to front. If you look at FreeBDM for September Quarter 1883, you will see an entry for REES,Wallace Monmouth 11a26 Regards from New South Wales, where the sheep are big as Whales Allan
