Have recently found amongst my late Mothers possessions an old photograph of two elderly ladies most likely some of her Welsh relatives On the back is written the name Edelir or something similar difficult to make out the exact spelling does any one recognise this as a Welsh name I have looked for Welsh names in Google but nothing to match exactly can any one help me with this please Susie

    3. Elidyr ?? Usually a male name, but there are records of use as a female name.  Hard to say without seeing a scan of the writing...
