Hi Lynda, something that happened in my wife's family was that the name was changed. The child in question was registered as Harriett, but then christened as Charlotte and remained as Charlotte throughout the rest of her life. You may find the same thing has happened here, or maybe Rees wasn't his forename but a 2nd forename, this happened a lot and still does. On Free BMD, try searching for... * Rees ...in the first name field and it will bring up any results where the child was registered with the 2nd forename of Rees. Hope this is of use, best wishes, Jon
