Hello Listers.. All this talk of the Parish Church in Ton Pentre has brought back so many memories of my earlier days. I was baptised in the church in 1935 and my family were regular worshippers there for years. I sang in the choir until about 11/12 years and the services were all in Welsh. I was so sad to see how it was demolished and all the mess and rubble in the churchyard. A memorial to my Gt Gd mother seems to have been lost in the demolition, but today it has all been rebuilt and is once again a living church to the Glory of God.
