The only firm fact I have regarding my husband's grandfather William Prosser Thomas is in the 1911 Census where the family are living at Panteg, Ystalyfera. He's 42, wife Ann 39 and children Lizzie 22, Thomas 20, Dora 18, May 15, James 11, David 7 and John 5 and had been married 23 years. I have tried to go back but have found two different mothers, Jane in 1891 and Elizabeth in 1871 and 1881 with the father being Thomas Thomas in all three Censuses. The complication is that the surname is Prosser Thomas so am I looking at the same person in the earlier censuses? I don't really want to add information from earlier Censuses if by doing so I am going down a blind alley! I have again been unable to find a marriage. Any help appreciated. Thank you. Anna Thomas
