    3. WESTERN MAIL SATURDAY DECEMBER 4. 1926.  No. 287 RECENT WILL. MR. MORRIS BENJAMIN JEFFRIES, LLANELLY. Mr. Morris Benjamin JEFFRIES (otherwise Morris BENJAMIN), of 19, Green Villas, Llanelly, paper dealer and glass merchant, who died on June 4, aged 47 years, left estate of the gross value of £6,192, with net personalty £5,779. Testator left £200 and his consumable stores to his wife, £100 to his nephew Isaac Hyman BENJAMIN, and the residue of the property in trust for his wife for life with remainder to his children or their issue in equal shares. SHEEP-SCAB FINES-Four Farmers Before Llanilar Justices. John and William JENKINS, Bryngarw Farm, Llanilar, were fined £6 1s.; David EDWARDS, Tynfron, Llanfihangel-y- Crenddyr, £3 1s., and Thomas MORGAN, Eisteddfa Fach, Llangurig, £6 1s. at Llanilar Sessions on Friday for failing to report sheep scab. CHILD KILLED BY CAR. Trevor BROOKS (8), of 287, Brithwaunydd-road, Caemawr was knocked down and killed by a motor-car on Friday. OBITUARIES. FUNERAL OF MR. J. DAVIES, LLANDILO. The funeral took place at the Llandilofawr Parish Church on Friday of Mr. John DAVIES, 3, Rhosmaen-street, Llandilo. The officiating clergy were the Revs. W. Arthur JONES (vicar of Cwmamman), D. R. G. DAVIES and David DAVIES (curates of Llandilofawr), and T. J. OLIVER (curate of Llandebie). Other ministers present were the Revs. Ben DAVIES (Capel Newydd) and G. Edmund WILLIAMS.   The chief mourners were:- Llewellyn, Charles, George, Tom, Johnny, Louis and Rees DAVIES (sons), T. and C. DAVIES (brothers), W. and G. DAVIES, E. GABRIEL and G. DAVIES (grandsons), and John LLEWELLYN, Taliesyn, George, and Goronwy BOWEN (brothers-in-law). FUNERAL OF MRS. S. CHERRINGTON, LLANGIBBY.   The funeral of Mrs. S. CHERRINGTON, wife of Archdeacon CHERRINGTON (Bishop designate of Waikato, New Zealand), and daughter of the late Mr. W. C. ADDAMS-WILLIAMS, Llangibby, took place at Llangibby Churchyard. The officiating clergy were the Rev. H. ADDAMS-WILLIAMS (formerly rector of Llangibby, and cousin of Mrs. CHERRINGTON), the Rev. A. L. OSMAN (rector of Llangibby), and the Rev. J. R. PHILLIPS (vicar of Llanfrechfa).   The chief mourners were Mr. and Mrs. J. ADDAMS-WILLIAMS, Usk (brother and sister-in-law); Mrs. and Miss TAYLOR, Kensington (sister and niece); Mr. C. ADDAMS-WILLIAMS and Col. L. ADDAMS-WILLIAMS, Llangibby (brothers); Gen. Sir Godfrey ADDAMS-WILLIAMS, Major Albert ADDAMS-WILLIAMS, Llangibby Castle; the Rev. Herbert CHERRINGTON; Mrs. J. BUDGEN, Gwelhog; Mr. and Mrs. CHERRINGTON, London; Mr. and Mrs. J. BRIGGS, Monmouth; Major and Mrs. A. TWEEDY, Monmouth; and Mr. H. ADDAMS-WILLIAMS, J.P. Usk. FUNERAL OF DR. JAMES ROWLAND ESSEX, PONTYPOOL.    The funeral of Dr. James Rowland ESSEX, J.P., of The Woodlands, Pontypool, took place at Trevithin on Friday, the Ven.D. E. ROBERTS, M.A., Archdeacon of Monmouth, and the Rev. T. H. WILLIAMS officiating.   The chief mourners were: Mr. and Mrs. T. H. DEAKIN, Park End (brother-in-law and sister), Mrs. NICHOLLS, Sheffield (niece), Mr. Carl DEAKIN (nephew), the Misses CORBETT and Mr. Andrew CORBETT (nieces and nephew), Col. D. Ellis WILLIAMS, Griffithstown, Mr. J. A. WILSON, Newport, Mrs. T. B. R. WILSON, Newport, Major THOMPSON, Newport, Mr. W. H. V. BYTHWAY, Pontypool, and Mr. H. M. BYTHWAY, Caerleon. The bearers were Messrs. G. MITCHELL, J. MITCHELL, W. MORGAN, Ll, GUNTER, W. VAUX, W. CHAMBERS, T. DAVIES, and R. EDWARDS.   Others present included Dr. R. J. S. VERITY, Abersychan, Mr. Godfrey E.
