I want to look up the baptism of family members who lived at Groesfen Farm near Bargoed circa 1910. Can anyone tell me which church would be a possibility? They may have been non conformist so need to check these and Church in Wales. Many thanks Sheila Alderson

Sheila - you'll probably need to look at Deri Chapels & Churches. Also going north from the farm is Capel Brithdir, which may have been more active in 1910. More can be found about Capel Brithdir from a book on Gelligaer written by the wife of the vicar of St Gwladys' church - Bargoed in the '60's. It'll probably be reference in the Lib.o Wales.
