    3. I hope admin. don't mind me posting this.......... The site I use for censuses have the 1911 summary census and the 1911 census has just gone on line but I have to enter civil parish and sub- reg dist. ....this still gives me 900 pages to go through. Has anyone the facility to search 1911 without going through all of this? Christopher Taaffe born Ireland and living in Gateshead Co Durham.....does it state where he was born ?. I know a brother stated he was born Dublin in an earlier census. Not much of a Glamorgan link I'm afraid. If anyone could just mention the birth place that would be grand......... no image required thanks. Also, if there is an easier way of searching Id apprecite to know how. It appears as difficult as looking through the various spellings of Taaffe. ( Taff not Taffy) :) Regards, Kevin.

    3. Hello Kevin The actual census contains two pages, one with the census proper and the other with the head of household, which is what the summary books are. Therefore instead of 900 you have 450 pages to search through. Search summary book for the schedule number and double it to find the corresponding page on the Census. Thats my simple theory. In practice... Gareth I hope admin. don't mind me posting this..........
