The best bet would be the Evening Post as the Western Mail doesn't have a great following in the Swansea area - additionally, the death appears to have happened in 1970! -- Cheers Peter Neath
Hello Peter Darn my cunning plan failed. Yes they do have a copy I should have checked what I was sending in the first place. There should be similar copies where you are in Neath or Swansea of papers of more relevance. The following may be of help as well. The Library regrets that it cannot undertake extensive research or genealogical searches on behalf of readers but will be pleased to answer shorter queries by post. Western Mail (kept in hard copy until filmed copy received) South Wales Echo (previous 12 months) Western Mail (daily) 1st May 1869 - PRESENT http://www.bridgend.gov.uk/web/groups/public/documents/services/001884.hcsp Gareth --- On Sat, 18/6/11, Peter Thomas <peter.thomas@nidum.plus.com> wrote: Gareth, basically there are only two newspapers - The South Wales Evening Post and the Western Mail that would have been likely to have reported on this death/inquest.
