Hi Eirwen Ahh the mystery of my great great grandmother Mary Ann NORTH nee WEBB. If only my grandad was around to tell the story and he definitly said that his grandmother was born in France.... plus the census records confirm this. I wonder if there is any record in the newspapers from that time in the area they lived advertising labour work in France. If only we could find her birth certificate, then the mystery may be solved.
