Lyn On Mildred's death cert, does it show her as a Widow? or Wife of Henry Williams BEAVAN, also does it show that she has a middle name? Regards Doug California, Missouri, USA -----Original Message----- From: Lyn <genielynau@bigpond.com> To: glamorgan <glamorgan@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wed, Jun 29, 2011 5:44 am Subject: [GLA] 1851 census help BEAVAN I wonder if anyone can locate my BEAVAN family in 1851 census. Henry Williams BEAVAN and his wife Mildred lived mostly in Glamorgan at various abodes - Town Hill House, Townhill and Swansea in the early 1800s with a small stint in Bristol. Mildred died 19 October 1851 in Queen Street, Neath at the age of 72. She was born in Ireland. Henry was born about 1781 place unknown. I have never been able to locate them in the 1851 census. There is a Henry Beavan about the right age but he has the wrong wife and from memory children. Henry and Mildred only had one daughter Florinda born 1805 in Bristol who lived in Gloucestershire and they are not with her in 1851. Is there a census wiz out there who likes a challenge? It would be really great to find them. regards Lyn in Oz. -- To send to the list send to glamorgan@rootsweb.com GLAMORGAN Family History Mailing List archives etc. are at http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/intl/WLS/GLAMORGAN.html - A large amount of information, and a wide variety of useful links, may be found at http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/wal/GLA/ - The South/West Wales Lookup Exchange and Gareth's Help Pages http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~walesle/wal/AW.html and http://home.clara.net/tirbach/hicks.html ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to GLAMORGAN-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
Hi Doug It says wife of Henry Beavan Gentleman. Informant was Bridget Morgan present at death of the same address. There is a connection to a Morgan family but whether Bridget is actually a relative or not I don't know. Perhaps she might be the clue to finding them or that address. regards Lyn _____ From: rdmnanst@aol.com [mailto:rdmnanst@aol.com] Sent: Wednesday, 29 June 2011 9:49 PM To: genielynau@bigpond.com; glamorgan@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [GLA] 1851 census help BEAVAN Lyn On Mildred's death cert, does it show her as a Widow? or Wife of Henry Williams BEAVAN, also does it show that she has a middle name?
