I'm getting nothing coming up on there are at all, not on FreeBMD or FMP or FamilyRelatives where I can browse the images. There are no McJENNETTs at all in Q4 1914 The only one I can find is Q2 1856 Deaths Jun 1856 McJennett James Carey Cardiff 11a 154 In the 1851 census theres a James McJennett, age 10 months, born Clapham, an inmate of Wandsworth & Clapham Union Workhouse. There's a 35 yr old widowed cook named Mary McJennett, born Colchester, Essex there as well. 3. Having looked at the FreeBMD image ANC-02/H-O/1914D4-M-0198.jpg for Dec qr 1914 for the McJ names ( it covers McIver to McLean) there is no entry for this name. Deaths on 11a 154 in December quarter 1914 are in Bedwellty district. The death of James Carey McJENNETT in Cardiff ref 11a 154 was actually in June quarter of 1856 At that date the indexes do not show age at death Jeff ----- Original Message ----- From: "Robert Alun Chick" <robertalunchick@aol.co.uk> To: <GLAMORGAN@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, August 01, 2011 9:55 AM Subject: [GLA] Cardiff DEATH 1914 any help plrase. > > > James Carey Mcjennett > Death 1914 Cardiff 11a 154 Dec Qtr > Without buying Death Cert ….does anybody have any further information > about > James Carey McJennett ….His age at death would be a great help. > Thanks > Robert Alun Chick Penarth > > > -- > > To send to the list send to glamorgan@rootsweb.com > GLAMORGAN Family History Mailing List archives etc. are at > http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/intl/WLS/GLAMORGAN.html > - > A large amount of information, and a wide variety of useful links, may be > found at http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/wal/GLA/ > > - > The South/West Wales Lookup Exchange and Gareth's Help Pages > http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~walesle/wal/AW.html and > http://home.clara.net/tirbach/hicks.html > > > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to > GLAMORGAN-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the > quotes in the subject and the body of the message

    3. On closer examination of this problem, it appears that for some bizarre reason Ancestry has taken about 34 consecutive entries for deaths in the June quarter of 1856 , from William McHattie to Alfred McKardy, and added them to the deaths in the December quarter of 1914, where their format without an age at death (always shown in 1914) makes them stand out. These entries are all in the correct place in the FreeBMD database. I have put a warning on the McJennett entry on Ancestry. If anyone has a hotline to Ancestry to persuade them to put their database right, by all means pass on this information.
