Are you a Givens descendant? I am descended from John (ca 1717/27 - 1794) to Samuel (ca 1755-April 1814) to John (3 Sept 1779-17 June 1843) to James Wilson (8 March 1816 - March 1868) to my grandmother - Nancy Caroline Givens (13 March 1866 - 16 Feb 1952). Am searching for Samuel's Rev. War Records, but have found nothing. Samuel died in Knox Co., Tenn, but his father, John died in Lincoln Co., Kentucky. His will is in Will Book "B", page 95, Lincoln Co. His wife, Rebecca (ca 1727/1731- aft 1780) also died in Lincoln Co., but I do not have a copy of her will if there was one.
