This might be another WOW!!! I have info on the McKinneys in my paper records because of their relations to the surname Pope. I am also a Pope decendent through the wife of Joseph Inmon, son of Sarah Gilmore/Gilmer. He was married to Mary Elizabeth Pope. Her father was a Leroy Pope whose family came out of NC.
