He is listed on the marriage record of Richard Guiliams as giving his consent to the marriage. signed Edy X (his mark) Guiliams. Richard m. Cordelia Smith Jan 29, 1845 in Greene Co. by D. A. Dryden. Sarah Guiliams m. Joseph Gilmore/Gilmer. She was born 1835 in IND. 1850 census lists a Darthella Guiliam b. 1832 IND, living with Corbly M. Girrard. Girrard listed two places from widow Sarah Darneal from KY. The reason I threw that in is because our elusive John the Miller Gilmore that is listed in the 1850 census was married to Catherine Darnell from KY. Children I have listed for Joseph and Sarah are: William J. b. 1850 Mary J. b. 1851 John F. b. 1855 Sarah C. b. 1857 Joseph M. b. 1860 (I'm trying to find this census record. Must be Christian Co.) I can't find much at all on the Guillims. I pick up the name Gilliams on later funeral home records that mention Lawrence Co. MO.
