Hi All, Just received a letter from a Gilmore descendant (not my line) friend in Missouri who says he's read several reference's to a line of Gilmore's that were with Daniel Boone in Central Missouri, before the went into Polk and Greene Co, Missouri. Does anyone know who they were? I know Wilburn and "Hazy" McKinney Gilmore were in that area, but, a little east I think, and later they were in Texas County. I of course, am still trying to place my Millie E. c1854 MO, in a family in Southwest Missouri, probably in and/or around Vernon County in 1878. Vicki Peterson
