Could your William Gilmore be of any relation to Elizabeth Gilmore, B/KY., married to J.J. [John Joel] FOSTER, B/ca1801, N.C. J.J. and Elizabeth's 1st child was JOEL JACKSON, B/1825, Allen Co.,KY. They were parents to 3 or 4 more children before moving to TN., in and around Lawrence Co., during the 1830s.
