I have researched the Gilmores of Rockbridge Co., VA to Pulaski Co., KY for about 15 years or more. The Rockingham Co., VA Gilmores came from Pennsylvania to Virginia, and we assume the Rockbridge Co., VA Gilmores were also in Pennsylvania before coming down to Augusta/Rockbridge Counties but I have not been able to prove it.
