    3. Linda The name Mudd strikes a bell. I was once looking at information on a James L. Gilmore who married a Nancy Mudd in KY because my gg grandfather was named James Lowell Gilmore (but much younger than the one in KY). I think this James L. and Nancy Mudd were written up somewhere in KY records. My Gilmores were from Warren Co., so I think that was where these other Gilmores came to also. I believe this James L. was in the line of the Rev. War vet James Gilmore who came from VA to KY. When I get time I'll try to find the reference. I probably filed it away when I learned it wasn't my line.
