In 1825 Nathan CULVER married Eliza GILMORE in Coila, Washington Co., NY. Eliza/Elizabeth was daughter of James GILMORE (1767-1831) of Cambridge, NY. When James GILMORE died in 1831, Nathan CULVER was made guardian of minor children, Jane, Mary, and Eunice Abigail GILMORE.
