Catherine - I have a William Gilmore b. abt. 1790 in Ireland, immigrated to New York with his parents, John Gilmore & wife (name unknown). His sister, Margaret (m. Robert Wright) was left in Ireland. Other siblings born in this country are Samuel (Dr.) Gilmore, Smith Gilmore, John Gilmore (farmer) m. Mary Bell, Jane Gilmore m. _ Bishop (lived in Canada), and Nancy Gilmore m. John Wright .
