(Matilda's mother was most likely Martha Pasey (Posey), b. c.1776 in SC, living with family in 1850. A William Pasey, age 26, and family also appear in 1850 census.) Mary Gilmore and Charles Cogdell had 12 children, of which I have their names and dates if anyone is interested.
