Sorry, no connection that I know of, but at least you are from the same area. It seems all of the others are from VA, KT and parts S.E. My g granmother was Mary Gilmore born in Farmerstown, N.Y. (no longer on the map) to William and Dianna Gilmore. Moved with her parents at age 7 to Otsego Township, Steuben County, Indiana. Married Henry Quick Sept 16, 1847 Since the Holland Land Company opened up large tracts of land in Cattaurugus (sp?) County in western N.Y. in the early 1800's, their records may be worth checking for these towns and people. Many people "went west" via these lands. At this time I have many personal problems (husband with major operation) and I am not able to check into this. If you learn anything more about the N.Y.
