Hi, Your Gilmore post on the Native American Indian Gilmores gave me inspiration. I am searching for a Samuel Gilmore in TN? b. around 1785. He was either Native American Indian or part Native American Indian or married a Native American Indian. I believe the tribe may have been Cherokee. Since I have not searched the Native American Indian genealogy indexes before, I am hoping that you might be willing to point me to the web sites and lists that might help me in my search.
