Ruth, I am very interested in the Gilmore's from Washington Co GA. However, I have been unable to find out very much about them. My gg grandmother, Sarah Jane Gilmore was born in Washington Co GA in 1816. She married Emanual Ritch. She died in 1891 in Muscogee Co GA. She and her husband and 9 of their 10 known children are all buried in the Ritch Cemetery on the Ft Benning Reservation in Muscogee Co GA. Sarah Jane Gilmore had a maiden sister named Clara, I believe. I have no idea who her parents or who her siblings were. She named one son, Edward Gilmore Ritch.
