I am researching the family of Mathew Gilmore dob circa 1769, he married Margaret Logan on 2/13/1800 in Blount County Tennessee. They moved to Dickson County Tennessee and lived there for years, I suspect they then went to Alabama and on to Miss. Mathew Gilmore had several siblings they were: Elizabeth--married to George Davidson in SC., Jean--married James McCrory, Mary--married Alex Scott, James, John, William. I will be glad to forward any info I have and would love to correspond anyone searching this same family.
