KY married Martha unknown, died about 1840 son Patrick jr born about 1782 Mecklenburg N.C. 1st wife unknown, had three children James, Samuel Wilson Gilmore born 8/3/1808 KY and a sister Elizabeth born 1810. Daughter of Samuel was Matilda Elizabeth Gilmore born 2/4/1841 Warren Co. KY moved with her parents to southwester MO in 1857. I have other brothers and sisters of each generation if anyone wants their names.

I'm seeking information on my great grandmother Abbie M. Gilmore (Gilmour in some records) b 3 February, 1874, d 2 November, 1917 in Salina, KS, I think, - that's where she is buried. Married John Walter Simmons 29 September, 1897. They lived in various places in Kansas - including Sharon Springs and Salina. Children: Vinton, b 12 December, 1900, Dorothy and Roland. John Walter Simmons moved to Kansas from Clermont County, OH with his parents John Bazzle & Nancy Rebecca, but I have no clue about Abbie. Her middle initial may stand for Margaret since one family record lists her as Margaret Gilmour, but her tombstone has Abbie M. Does anyone know who her parents and/or siblings were or where the family originated? I appreciate any help I can get!
