Hi Fellow Rooters! I am new to the list, so I thought I would add my names to the list. My grandmother was born a Gillespie, Helen Marie Jan 15, 1901 in Barry, Pike Co IL. She was raised in Quincy, IL. Her father was William Edward Gillespie born Payson IL in 1869, her mother was Hortense Flora Walker born 1872 Columbus OH. William Edward was the son of William Edward Gillespie, born July 21, 1845 in IL & Altha Ann Childers of KY. I have very little information regarding this family. Is there any connection out there?
