Hi - My story goes something like this. Brothers, Harry (b. January 1863 in KY), and Joseph WOOLLUM were "adopted" by a GILLESPIE (exact spelling variation unknown) shortly after their father died during the Civil War. The Gillespie family was supposed to be of "St. Joe." Their sister, Stella, was adopted by another family. Anyone on this list heard of a similar story? Harry later lived, married, and had children in Kansas (Jewell and Graham Counties). Lynne
