Dear Mister and Madam, Since many years, I'am looking for my Gran Father : M. Franck R. Gillespie. This gentleman came in France in 1917 with the American Expeditionnary Forces commanded by General Pershing. During that war time, France and United States were two glorious nations who fighted like brother and sister against a common ennemy. I'am very proud of my American kinship and I would like to find memories of my Gran Father. He was born in Mexia (Texas) on the 21st of october 1895 ; mecanic engineer officer for the Service of Supply during the first war, he served in Tours (France) and lived 4, rue du Grand Marché. I love him very much because he love my father but the destiny prevented their meeting. If you are owned by his family or his close relations, my dearest wish should be to realize this encounter that he wanted so much and if you come in France in Paris, wellcome in my home.
