Hi Barbara, This could be a shot in the dark but my husband's Grandfather had a sister whose name was Cora Gilllespie from Estell County, Kentucky. She had a daughter Mildred who married a /// Mcintosh. Around 1982 they lived in Jeffersonville, Ind. I know this date is later than yours but do these names sound familiar?
