Fred What's with the Gillespie lineage?! They all seem to be so mysterious! My grandfather Lantie Miller Gillespie was born in Peoria, Ill and ended up in Texas. His father was Samuel House (or Niuse--hard to read the scanty writings we have) Gillespie, Jr. and his dad was of Sam, Sr. born somewhere back east in Tenn or Alabama in the early 1800s.
